*******s will scream about blood in the streets when another pro-gun law is passed in some city or state...it never happens, but that doesn't stop them from screaming about it every time.

*******s will further scream about global warming and polar bears, despite the fact that we've seen a cooling trend in the last decade and polar bear populations are actually increasing. Pick a trend and pick a direction...doesn't matter, it will indicate global warming...man made global warming, no less.

Predictions from the schtykmeister:

-Israel will destroy Iranian nuclear reactors before June of 2009.

-The Clintons will be perceived as assuming the role the left attributed to Cheny before year end, i.e. running the white house.

-Obama will have a favorable rating of over 75- 90% through June which will erode to below 50% by year end.

-Chrysler will file bankruptsy and merge with GM after significant negotiated concessions from the UAW.

-Due to the massive influx of fed money the stock market will rise to 11000 before year end.

-Signs of massive inflation will be inherent in the economy by year end. Business interest rates will be rising to a rate of prime over 7%.

-Unemployment will be in double digits by June but will recede dramatically by December.

-Housing prices will decline by an additional 10% through November and the first upturn in new construction and sales will be March 2010.

-Obamas decline in popularity will not be due to his handling of the economy which will begin to show positive by year end but due to his handling of the terrorist issue as there will be another significant hit that involves either a subway explosion, a buiding explosion, or an attack on a nuclear reactor that will not be successful or a food poisoning scare that will freeze up retail food markets for a while.
-Russia will have a significant conflict with one of its neighbors possibly Ukraine at year end.
-Ahmadenijad will be ousted before year end and a more moderate government will arise.
-Gingrich will rise as the new Republican star and Obama will listen.

I have many more but I shouldn't tell you everything.

I predict that there will be an unprecedented number of wild threads making all sorts of outlandish claims (many of which will be eagerly hijacked by trolls) in 2009. And immediately following, it will be 2010.

I actually have no predictions, I wish I did, that would make me a genius. I HOPE that w/Obama in office, things will get better. But I suspect schtyk, that's exactly what you would hope someone would post so you could rip them apart. Sorry, you can do that all you like, I stand by it.

Actually no, you read me wrong. I am watching Obama very carefully. I pray to God, (excuse the reference), that he will be succesful. We are definately on the hot plate and we need help. Sadly, so far I am dissapointed. He has surrounded himself by Clintonites. I do like his character. He is very measured in his responses and he appears dedicated to more than self preservation and personal narcissism. I am at this time giving him the benifit of a doubt. However, I stand behind the philosophy,- before any man. So far, I see he has the wrong basic philosphy.
At this point, I am so dissillusioned with what has been wrought, that I am willing to question the way I look at things, no surrender of core values implied.
I regret that I ever impose the character of ripping anyone apart. I hope my handle implies my personality. I wish no ill will against anyone. Some of the posts I read here deserve a measure of criticism. I have seen some things that are pretty tasteless. Almost without exception my dear they come from the left. Many times my retort is simply fist doubled up against fist doubled up. But I must admit Karfur I like it when you talk dirty.

Actually, I think you get enjoyment out of posting blatant, rude, controversial posts. You do it all the time. So please don't try to put on an "I'm sorry" face, because I see it all the time from you. As far as Obama goes, all I hear is like what you said "he's using the same people from Clinton's era". All I have to say is, time will tell, yes?

No dear, I get enjoyment out of setting the hook. I do try to have some fun with this. Again, if a poster comes at me fist doubled up i will return with my best shot. The trouble here I guess is inherent human nature to be combative or antagonistic. You may trust that I have sat down at the keyboard to post on many occassons with the driven intent to try and be as civil as posssbile and simply debate the subject at hand. It never works.
I have no compulsion to set the standard of shrinking violet for the lunatic left. I do try to post sincerely as represents my perspectives. I try to have fun with it and invariably I catch some fish. We are all no more than a synthesis of our unique experiences and our inate ability to interpret those experiences. Karfur as much as I have to hold back the impulse to throw up stating this liberal proposition of psycho babble I will say goodnight with, "I'm O.K. You're O.K." That book title is probably before your time. I take it as complimentary that you think I am a juvenile so you will have to use a different tactic to get under my skin. Good night sb, some of us have to work in the morning.
