By a margin of 114-1, the Illinois House of Representatives voted to impeach Governor Blagojevich.

It's probably important for people to realize, however, that being impeached does not automatically mean he's guilty, or that he'll be removed from office.

The man is very smart and is positioning himself well for the Senate Trial. He went off today about health care and his prescription drug plan being a reason for his impeachment. Well guess what I wonder how many members of the Illinois Senate got campaign contributions from the pharmaceutical industry? Hmmm impeach him for pay to play by folks who may be guilty of pay to vote.

Here's the lone dissenting voter.I wonder if he has a skeleton or two hiding in his closet or better yet,is waiting on the other sho to drop.

Rep. Milt Patterson (D-Chicago) was the lone vote against impeaching the governor. Patterson, from Chicago's Southwest Side, said after the roll call that he didn't feel it was his job to vote to impeach the governor. He declined comment on whether he approved of the job Blagojevich is doing.

Dude...Blago has got to be the WEIRDEST politician in recent memory....

What is UP with all the weird and way off topic self-filibuster literary quotations?

"Pay NO attention to the criminal hypocrite behind the pink curtain...."

He seems like one who is likely to say "If I go down then I'm taking you with me". He already started naming Rohm Emanual (spelling?). Very curious as to what is on those tapes and what names he's going to bring up. Wonder if his defense team will call Obama on the stand to testify? Rezko will be there.
