I don't know any lady that's only been with one guy.... its like she married a 8 million dollar husband and divorced him the next day and took half his assets without a divorce proceeding and no lawyers to pay... Smart girl! How many 8 million dollar husbands do you know of? Some people are just jealous...

Besides THAT, "brothel" has a relatively negative connotation, anyway. Just WHAT kind of person do you think this young lady IS, anyway?
I think she is a lying girl personally. I don't think she is a virgin and I think she is smart to lie so she can make some money off some creep with a fetish.

Who is to say she doesn't already have a deal set up with a brothel to use their facilities for a small cut of the profits?

Prostitution isn't really all that legal in Nevada. They don't have chicks on the corners or anything. You have to be licensed. The only place she can do it legally is a brothel according to the law.

"Nevada has laws against engaging in prostitution outside of licensed brothels, against encouraging others to become prostitutes, and against living off the proceeds of a prostitute."
"Prostitution outside licensed brothels is a misdemeanor in Nevada."

As a life long heterosexual, I would have second thoughts for $3.7 million.

Does anyone remember the movie the Indecent Proposal? I was screaming all through the movie that they should take the money. Hell, I would have sex with Robert Redford for a million dollars.

Prostitution IS LEGAL in counties with smaller populations in Nevada. This brothel is perfectly legal - as are the dozens of others around the state.

They young woman is a virgin - The owner of the Bunny Ranch, Dennis Hoffman is one very smart businessman. For him to participate in something other than what is "advertised" would be fraud - and, trust me - Dennis don't deal in fraud.

I'm sure that this young woman and Dennis have an arrangement - why shouldn't they? It's business. BUT, it is also very good business for the Bunny Ranch.

BTW - this particular Nevada Brothel is one of, if not the largest brothel in Nevada. At the "grand opening" of the expanded facilities, the local Chamber of Commerce was there to help cut the ribbon!

No, this is the "real deal".

Looking into the story for the first time reveals that the dear girl will consummate the agreement at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada where prostitution is legal.

Look folks, I think this is a gread deal for her. I wonder why so many freedom of choice folks (I being one) do not kick up a fuss about the illlegality of prostitution anyway. Should not a woman have the same freedom to sell her tata as to get an abortion? Her body, she should be able to screw as she sees fit for whatever reason.

How is it a porn star can screw on camera for money legally but a prostitute gets busted...bad word bust and all, lets try arrested.

Just wondered

Default so whats really better then?

[quote=Greatday;7007795]A 22-year-old woman is selling her virginity online — offering her body to bidders nationwide in an auction that reportedly has netted a $3.7 million offer — and the law isn't doing a thing to stop her.

The FBI isn't interested. The U.S. attorney doesn't care. Everything is fine by local police, and she isn't breaking any laws.

I lost my virginity to some loser that dumped me 2 weeks later. All he had to do was to play nice.... Or women who meets men at the bar and they buy them dinner and a few drinks in exchange for sex at the end of the night. Sure, that might not be what the women had in mind but many times thats just what happens. This girl is 22, an adult. I hope the feds have more important things to do then worry about a 22 year old selling her virginity.

Yeah i posted the link to the fact that is is legal in Nevada but hookers on corners are not.
Most incorporated cities only allow licensing brothels. Did you even read the link?

Who is to say she isn't splitting the money with an ex-lover? Who is to say she hasn't had sex with a one night stand who never knew her name and she looks somewhat different now? There is no test to tell if she lost her hymen to a speculum.

I don't think she is a complete virgin, but perhaps she is.

Even if she is, I don't see the big deal about the whole thing.

Of course I think this should be legal. All prostitution should be 100% legal and unregulated, and even the "age of consent laws" should be abolished in favor of parents' rights and emancipation / individual freedom.

That said, I think the price is way too high. In a free market, a 22-year-old virgin wouldn't cost more than a Hyundai, and even that high only because some people attach an irrational value to virginity in female sex partners. There are 3+ billion women out there on this planet, some living on a dollar a day. Do the math!

What about her makes you call her a loser? Is it doing something innovative and (in my opinion) socially positive? Is it being able to get this much money? Is it spending that money on education? Is fulfilling someone's desire, making him happy? What?

Verifying vaginal virginity (henceforth to be known as V3'ing) is somewhat possible, though modern restoration techniques make it somewhat more difficult. With a male, however...
