To those who think Barack is trying to take America in a "European direction" this might not be so bad after all. It just depends on which Europe,the past or current Europe.

If European countries are such socialisticly degenerate failures why does it cost so much to move to one of them?

Do you have that option? Are you a dual citizen? What are the costs that you are referring to?

I am a dual citizen (US and Ireland) and could retire there if I wanted to....

I thought Estonia or some small country like that already instituted the flat tax, and it really paid off for them...will have to find a link.

Yes, it paid off quite handsomely for the government but the regular people are suffering quite terribly.
