i'm not certain if its just for the ratings or if a person can seriously jsut be that naive, but elizabeth hasselback has to be the most retarded air headed individual in daytime t.v. IMO everytime she opens her mouth about politics, religion, or world events, i get the feeling she's just trying to be miss controversy! somebody pleas help this chic get a bucket of clues!!!

It used to be in America that if you were good-looking, hot, and classy, and just so happened to be married to an NFL quarterback, had two nice children naturally produced, etc. -- that represented success.
Today, if you're angry and hateful and a lesbian (Rosey), you are the new elite. Today, if you are ugly and angry with a Jewish last name (Goldberg) you are the talk show host. If you are Italian Catholic but hate your own people, divorced from 2 liberal Jews (Behar) -- that's what makes you someone to idolize.
Elizabeth has a degree from Boston College, and she's younger, but ultimately smarter than the older wenches on that show. At some point, she'll show it. But give her a break, she's married to a stud guy, she hasn't been to liberal angry wench 101 for the last 35 years like the rest of the cast has. Give her some time.
Personally, I don't even know why she lowers herself to be seen with Behar, Goldberg, O'Donnell, Walters, et al. She's far classier.
(tidbit: Whoopi's real name is Caryn Johnson, but she changed it to Goldberg seeking better results in Hollywood casting calls, and it paid off)

Hey, it took me a damn long time to overcome all the crap one gets taught in New Brazil, er......America, these days.
I have ten years on Elizabeth and it takes quite a deal of research and effort to undo all the liberal brainwashing. All I can say, is that she shows the all the right instincts in life, whereas her expert hater and professional wench costars show the opposite.
Why is it that Barbara Walters makes the show 4 on 1 anyway? How honest is that? Plus, they make the majority position the ones who are the oldest. How fair is that?
Walters is just another bigoted liar, she knows damn well why she stacked that crap show the way she has.
She has just as much right to voice her views as anyone else does. If the only people allowed to speak are the ones you personally agree with....then it no longer is America.

Agreed. Add to that she is the LONE conservative on a show that is very left-leaning. It's pretty hard to hold your own when you have three other angry wenches glaring you down and ganging up on you like that.
I'm a moderate conservative, and therefore a liberal doesn't bother me as long as things are discussed rationally and intelligently. Some of my very best friends are liberals and they think the liberal leaning wenches on that show are WAY overboard. It's a hate fest and they gang up on Hasselback constantly.
I have a great respect for anyone that can go into that lion's den day after day. She has guts.

It only takes observing her defense of the NeoConfuseds to know she shows no instinct for judging alleged leaders. Her biggest talent appears to be knowing how to hop on the gravy train.
