for me it was his lack of care for the poor and middle class, things like healthcare were basically ignored, Bush was put in power by the wealthy and the oil and war profiteers and they have been feeling the benefits over the last 8 years, for this reason alone I think Bush should be punished

I am a Social Conservative, but the "Trickle Down"/ Wall Street first, Main Street second approach has been proven wrong - hopefully for all time

The third option is inaccurate.
Bush has actually spent more on social programs than Clinton did.

And, the wealthy paid more in taxes in 2006 than they did in 2000...

Taxes paid by the top 1%:
2006------ 39.89%
2000------ 37.42%
