Bush gets low marks in poll as he prepares exit - International Herald Tribune

Still think history will judge him "kindly"?

"Just 17 percent of those surveyed rated Bush's presidency as very good or good, while 83 percent said it was average or poor. Fifty-nine percent of Americans regarded Clinton as a very good or good President and 40 percent viewed the senior President Bush the same way.
Disapproval cuts across party lines, with Democrats, Independents and even 34 percent of Republicans voicing strong criticism of Bush's performance."

83% disapprove of his job performance. I did not realize that 83% of Americans lived in San Francisco! Apparently the 17% cover the rest of the United States? You must understand that disapproval of President Bush is universal. I don't think people hate him as much as they dislike the job he did as president. Obviously, you are one of the 17% who approve and liked the job he did. I cannot understand that, given the facts, but we all are entitled to our own opinions. Mine and yours are obviously different.

History will never judge Bush The Idiot with kindness. He's the biggest f-up in presidential history. Period.
