expect to pay a lot. I am expecting 80% of my wages to go help that black bum who stands infront of the Starbucks I go into. I am betting he will be buying a Venti Mochas under the Obama years while I am buying grande black coffee with nothing but milk.........

LOL OH God 80%...you are going to give me a heart attack! I know I am facing 38% but if they change the SS tax too, then what? We no longer will max out? But our benefits will not increase when we retire?

You are right, Venti Mocha for him and one for Jose too and you get the grande plain coffee.

Do you have your 1040 booklets from say 2000 forward? Do you know that the rate tables for each year are included at the back of each booklet? Can you see how much your taxes would have gone down as the result of the tax cuts of 2001 and 2003? If those tax cuts are repealed or allowed to expire, that's how much your taxes will go back up. Of course, you might have to redo your AMT worksheets as well...

I don't have my 1040 booklets. My accountant only gave me my tax form in a folder. I can look it up online. I just thought that someone might have an idea on the numbers. I know it is going to go back to 38% but who knows what else is coming. Nancy is foaming at the mouth to get the tax cuts repealed.

Thanks!
