What I'm seeing here is the same line of rhetoric that preceded the election: Anger, fear, conspiracy theory non-sense, and most of all manufactured outrage. Are childish diatribes and frivolous assertions lifted from nutty right wing blogs all you're worth?

Nothing has changed, in fact it seems even more exaggerated than before. Don't you understand that this type of non-sense is why you lost the election in the first place? Did you not learn anything?

What's stopping the GOP from getting aboard? Why must they continue on with this lunacy we see before us?

Consider adding an option that some of us are getting on board and want our new President to succeed. Then I can vote too.

I wish the Democrats would have not collaborated with the Republicans on the Iraq War. The Dems did zero to stop it.

Why shouldn't the Republicans oppose Harry Reid who is right now cooking up an Amnesty bill?? Even the majority of Democrat voters don't support it, but it will be rammed down America's throat, it may appear -- just like the war was.

McCain collaborates on Amnesty, and Hillary and Reid collaborated on the disastrous wars. Go figure.
The Dems voted for a resolution to go to war as a last resort after all forms of diplomacy had been used. They specifically said so (Hillary gave a fairly long speech about her vote) after casting their votes. Bush took that trust, kicked the inspectors out of Iraq and went to war. The big GOP lies were WMD, the connection to AQ, the "Saddam kicked the inspectors out" and the Dems "Voted for War."

All bull****.

To SLCPunk,

Wait ... wait a second. The past 8 years the left has went after Bush like a pack of rabid dogs. They attacked for his appearance, the way he talks, the way he walks - everything. 4 years we had to hear conspiracies that he was "selected, not elected" and 4 years of conspiracy theories that 9/11 was an inside job.

He gets elected again and more conspiray theories that Bin Landen's video was a fake to get Bush elected. The attacks against Bush, a man who saved America from further terrorist attacks were relentless. The attacks came 24/7/365, horrific poisonous attacks against a war time president. Who was doing his damn best to protect your city from what Al Queda planned! You can't even say, "He at least protected us."

Leftists did their best to trip him up, they blackmailed him to get their way or they'd screw up the war effort, they went as human shields to Iraq, they blocked convoys, they gave intelligence to the enemy, they gloated when a grenade was thrown at Bush in Albania, they gloated when a shoe was thrown at Bush in Iraq, it was pure sport to brutally attack this man who was entrusted to protect us from further 9/11's. And YOU wonder why the country is a mess? How can any human being stand up to 8 years of commedians, commentators, TV anchors, Oprah, etc. mocking him, trying to bring him down? Could you run the country with that happening to you?

But now ... now leftists want us to adore Obama and sing praise songs to their new deity? Sorry, but Obama isn't even a legitimate President, he's using 3 law firms to hide a $10 birth certificate. Come on, any idiot can see there's something fishy going on. The guy can't even get his swear in right, puts a tax-cheater on his team to fix the economy, thinks there's 57 states. I'm sure the average school kid in North Korea knows how many states there are in the US!

This isn't American idol SLCPunk, Obama isn't a god, he's an inexperienced guy who hasn't a clue what he's doing. The American people fell for the hype and didn't read the fine print on the contract.

By the way, while leftists were busy mindlessly chanting "Change!" ... "Change!" ..."Change!" ... "Yes we can!" like mindless Germans during Nazi Germany, us conservatives were reading the fine print, paying attention to what Obama actually said. So no wonder you're thinking, "Huh, what? Why are these guys promoting conspiracy theories?" Go watch some of Obama's speeches, get past the mindless Nazi/Communist like chanting and listen word for word and actually think about Obama plans on doing. Trust me 6 months from now you'll be see what we were talking about!

Why wouldn't anyone ridicule everything about president Bush? he doesn't know how to speak, when the going gets tough he goes on vacation, the election came down to one man, and who was that man? Jeb BUSH. And you say Obama seems fishy...

You act like Bush did anything extraordinary that any other president wouldn't have done to prevent further attacks. Of course airport security is going to get beefed up, airplanes were highjacked. I mean maybe that seemed like a crazy and genius plan to you, but other people thought it should have been enforced BEFORE 9/11, you know those terrorist attacks that took place on Bush's watch.

And you go from talking about conspiracy theories on 9/11, to saying democrats blackmailed Bush? blackmailed him into doing what exactly? screwing up the country even more? Openly trading military secrets with the enemy? are you serious man? I vote to block this guy's posting privileges, you're not worth the pixels your posts take up.

And no one wonders why this country is a mess, its because we have had Bush running it for 8 years. Country was just fine before he was forced upon us. If he couldn't handle being attacked by news channels and OMG oprah, then maybe he shouldn't have gotten us in to a meaningless and ILLEGAL war.

And come on man, you seriously believe that Obama is not an American born citizen? like is that what republicans come up with when there is really nothing bad to say about the guy they didn't vote for? cuz thats pretty weak. It was easy to bash Bush, you just had to watch one of his speeches and he did it to himself. But I guess since you are so butthurt over being proved wrong the past 8 years, you'll resort to anything that can be remotely viewed as real.

You're right on one thing tho, this isn't American Idol. This is a real country, and your opinion means nothing because its people like you that got us so far in debt that everyone's houses are forclosing and we are in a pointless war with a country that had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks.

Consider yourself schooled.

Oh, I see, so hanging out with terrorists like Bill Ayers, criminals like Tony Rezko, Racist Preachers, Campaigning for Odinga (who murdered thousands in Kenya), and putting a Tax Cheater as Treasury of the Secratery on your team is A-Ok if your candidate does it, huh?

Sheer hypocrisy.

That's why this country is split-apart.

You seem to forget Bush's own base abandoned him. We tossed Delay and Gingrich too. But leftists overlook the scandals their guys commit. If their candidates are scandal-prone its all the more reason to vote for them because it's sooo progresssivvveee. Yes, Buffy, please hand me another latte.

Actually you've been schooled.
