"Executive Privilege" can be a wonderful thing, if utilized properly. President Obama seems to have a pretty good handle on what to do with it. In addition to this one, he also rescinded the classification of files of former Chief Executives.

"CHICAGO In his first full day in office, President Barack Obama issued a memorandum ordering government agencies to examine Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with a bias toward release of the documents -- overturning eight years of a Bush administration directives to find ways not to disclose information."
Curious - when Bush took office, his executive order went a long way to protecting Clinton from his political enemies on the right, which disappointed a lot of people itching to get at bubba's documents.
Seems obama is inviting one all from the left to commence the fishing expedition.
I can imagine a steady stream of memos, emails, notes that the left will squeal about, but in the end, won't amount to much - except what the Left and the media try to make a mountain out of.
So bush was more interested in protecting the office of the president, while obama is more interested in partisan politics.
