Blagojevich was considering Oprah for Obama's senate seat

I don't doubt that Blago considered Oprah for the vacant Senate position. From HIS perspective, she is LOADED with gobs of money and he was hoping she'd pay a king's ransom for the job. Oprah is smart enough to know her place and wouldn't soil her hands by entering Congress.

She might make a good ambassador, to certain 'nations' that have no military or industrial intrigue. Nations like Monaco or Luxembourg, where presidents typically post socialites as a payback for their support.

OH, why not? We've had other entertainers in Congress. They're just usually from Cali. Why not one from the Second City?
