Yes, that's Pat Robertson's own personal form of madrassa to create a supply of wingnuts for the American Taliban movement. It's the mad dog twin of Jerry Falwell's "Liberty University," a mis-nomer if ever was one. All Falwell ever wanted was the "liberty" to control everyone else with his evil version of religion.

The guy in the case you reference is a particularly sick pup, the tip of the iceberg in the wingnut fantasyland.

Bush / Rove tried to pack the Justice Dept and other federal agencies with grads of these whack job zoo's. The new Atty General will have to first find and then dispose of these moles that seek to insert wingnut doctrine into public law and policy.

Any university that is barely recognized by any of the rating agencies hardly deserves to be able to use the word "university".

"forcible sodomy..."object sexual penetration"..."agreed to withdraw nine other felonies against McPherson in exchange for his pleas"

"A conviction on the penetration charge is punishable by up to life in prison."

"McPherson and his wife worked from August 1996 to August 2000 as house parents supervising a cottage of as many as eight girls at Hope Haven Children's Home on North Landing Road in Virginia Beach, said Linda Jones, a spokeswoman for Union Mission Ministries, which operates the home. Hope Haven, founded in 1965, provides Christian-based care for children from 'distressed family situations,' according to its Web site. McPherson is a grandson of the Rev. Theodore Bashford, executive director of the ministries for 52 years, Jones said Friday." - Former Regent University Dean of Student Affairs Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

Question Regent University School of Law

Wasn't there a problem with that school's accreditation?

Quote some news stories about such democrats. Got any? No? I didn't think so. The GOP is a disgrace, and so are the clowns like Robertson and Falwell who foist these creeps upon us as if they're paragons of virtue. Yes, please DO grow up.

There was an issue with their accreditation, but the ABA has them accredited. They are a tier 4 law school, which is the bottom of the barrel.

So prosecute the guy to the fullest extent of the law. We should expect nothing less!

And since you brought up the topic of "guilt by association", let's talk about Franklin Raines, Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko, Jeremiah Wright, Rahm Emmanuel, Boy Blagojevich, and a whole host of other "wack jobs" shall we?

Perhaps the ABA frowns on the teaching of Leviticus as the basis for our legal system...
