I did not call it pork. I pointed out how it might help people and states in this awful economy. economic stimulus can mean more than just job creation.

The unemployment all these people are claiming is not hurting the states. but hey lets help people get abortions and condoms.
With the national debt at what is it and the fact we are having to borrow money to make this package even happen. Its only focus should be on those things that will create jobs and help the economy

I would say that this sounds like a band-aid fix to a larger issue. The US, as with many other western countries, have aging populations which means that fewer children will mean a greater burden on the few left.
Also, I don't agree that what is proposed by Pelosi is a "stimulus."
