hey, whats wrong with porno shops on every block, strip clubs on every corner, prostitutes, homeless, and gansters. I will stay home with my fiance thank you and live a normal life.
The more "conservative" an area in this country, the more you'll find its citizens are less educated, the more they are anti-science, the more they are regressive about change, and the more they want proven liars in the Republican Party to enrich themselves while sending the rest of this country down the tubes.
You can have your Dark Ages mentality, I'l live with the smart people (unlike where I live now)
But we all have to strive for something (or someplace) better, so thats what I'll do.
Most of those Republican liars jumped ship and went to the Democratic party. Good riddance to bad rubbish, ya'll can have them
I'm from Baltimore, aka Charm City. You'd do okay in much of MD. Look at Howard or Montgomery Counties or northern Baltimore County. The city is a mess, stay outside of Baltimore proper. If you want rural, look at Carroll or Frederick Counties. If you are retired, lots more counties are worth a look.
Boston might be a bit much for you, not sure.
Lots of Texans end up in COLO and do very well here. We have tolerance for all sorts, and we have all sorts.
I lived in Denver for 6 yrs. Native Coloradans do not have tolerance for all sorts, especially people who transplanted from California or Texas. Denver is more conservative, but has a more tolerant mix. Similar to Austin, Texas that way. Boulder is ultra liberal and called the Peoples Republik of Boulder and is not tolerant of conservatism. Fort Collins is also a tolerant mix as far as liberal/conservative
Reagan lost MN because it was Mondale's home state.

I would call more than 1/2 of those states conservative, despite the last election. Although as the demographics change they are becoming more "liberal" and that's why the USA is in marked decline and basic bankruptcy over gvt. spending (wars included, which were neocon not conservative).

Have you read about the crystal meth problem in rural America? in case you haven't been paying attention the shootings in schools have been in more suburban areas that tend to lean more conservatives!
Crystal Meth production occurs in rural america because there aren't as many neighbors nearby to rat them out. School shootings happen for a variety of reasons, meth having little to do with it. I mostly hear about gang/drug violence happening in Inner City schools. Bullying is probably the number one reason for kids coming unglued.
