Obama finds room for lobbyists - Kenneth P. Vogel and Mike Allen - Politico.com
President Obama promised during his campaign that lobbyists "won't find a job in my White House."

So far, though, at least a dozen former lobbyists have found top jobs in his administration, according to an analysis done by Republican sources and corroborated by Politico.

Logic
Regardless of party lines, politicians need to be held accountable.
Maybe it was ok for Bush to lie, because Clinton did so before him and so on...

Yes he did, he said NO lobbyists including former lobbyist who lobbied within the past TWO years... if you are currently an auto-worker or whatever but was a lobbyist last year, you are INELIGIBLE... To think that there are 305 M Americans of which 80% are over the age of 20... and you can't find one person who can do the job and isn't a lobbyists speaks volumes about the PROBLEMS of this country... the money is in corruption... when will it ever end... well not anytime soon it appears

Clinton lied about sex, a personal relationship with another consenting adult.

Bush got over 30,000 people seriously wounded, over 4,300 dead, countless Iraqis dead, etc.

I think Bush was not held accountable for much.

Obama said no lobbyists in his administration, which there won't be. There is a former lobbyist, who isn't even able to deal with anything he was lobbying for for the first year. You guys can call this a lie and say all the bs you want, but the fact is you're just pulling at hairs and this decision doesn't do anything bad for America, which is exactly the kind of CHANGE we need from the Republican era.
