UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The United States didn't have authorization from the U.N. nuclear watchdog when it secretly shipped from Iraq uranium and highly radioactive material that could be used in so-called "dirty bombs," U.N. officials said Wednesday.

You mean the uranium that was sealed by the UN inspectors in 1992, yeah that would have been a shocker!

OLD news is still OLD news, no matter how many times you haul it out to a political forum.
So what, exactly, do you suppose Saddam was intending to do with that yellow-cake uranium? Use it for seasoning on Kurdish Pot Pies?
Not much since it was under the same lock and key in 2003 as it was in 1992 when the UN sealed it.
Oh, I take that back, after the "liberation" of Iraq, some local villagers broke into the facility and stole some of the uranium not knowing what it was. Funny isn't it, under Saddam, the U.N. seals stayed intact, under the US, they kind of just slipped away.
