You mean Ivy league caliber schools like Duke, Emory, Vaderbilt, Rice, Wake Forest which are all in the South?

A note to the OP almost all the cities in the United States are full of liberals and democrats heck even the "conservative" ones like Dallas, Houstan, and San Diago voted democratic in 2008. So you essentially would have a country with few real centers of population. However, if a pre-industrial theocracy is what you want....

"Joel you have really done some good work here but let's be honest- it isn't quite Ivy League now is it?"

You people that invoke your hubris of center city hubs. Would you also take pride in knowing those cities were built on the backs of the most ruthless capitalist (the bigger the city the more ruthless the capitalism).... It's no wonder free loaders flock to where the excess is.... like the 1848 gold rush. Trickle down doesn't work. Supply side economics are voodoo. Living off the smarties is folly.

The term "Ivy league" does not make a university better, it is only a farce that the ignorant believe

Speak for yourself lol, I like Greensboro.

Guilford county (Greensboro) 2008 Election result

Obama 59%
McCain 40%

North Carolina has quite a few dems I would not write it off so easily.

It seems as though your "Liberal" education did not teach spelling

I can spell, I just don't care enough to proof read what I write here anymore. I really do not think it matters quite frankly.
