This is insane. Grow up people. This isn't about liberal or conservative, this is about something that is going on(just like alot of other things that we need to fix) that is obviously wrong. And if you want to get into overpopulation, you need to start killing off the people first. If we don't do something fast about our human population problem we will distory our planet then our race (no planet=no people) I can't wait till we get to this point in our progress as people, where we realize that every animal matters on this planet, not just humans.

All those biologist, the geographic terrain, human/wolf starvation, extinction and cost to the environment also evades you?
As a dog lover, I can not stomach how people are so in "love" with Sarah Palin and can mutter the words "charm" and anything positive towards her with policies such as aerial hunting.

Preach to the third world countries about poplulation control. Not us. We can advocate it all we want (and have since the '70s, as in "zero-or negative-population growth" by encouraging couples to only having one child or two), but they continue to have the human herds explode in numbers, defying nature by not starving off the weak and sick and balancing the population, because countries like our's spend billions to feed them. These are the cold facts...on a human level, it's shameful that people don't know when to quit breeding and all this suffering of humans is the result. These third world countries also have incredible habitat destruction as a result of over-farming and over-grazing. In the 21st century, they still can't rotate crops, learn to fertilize, rotate pasturage, irrigate, stop poaching wildlife or plan for the future.
"Civilized" countries commonly practice some form of population control, while much poorer nations typically have enormous birth rates. Focus on the poorer nations.
Population control in the US? Enforce the borders.
The OP made this a conservative vs liberal politcal debate when the thread began. It's not really about the wolves, predator control, inhumane hunting tactics or habitat destruction. It's someone with a grudge against Governor Palin. Note the name-calling.
