Animals having equal rights with humans is what your fellow leftists believe...
Think about that and how utterly stupid it is.
Of course don't be eating a ham or turkey sandwich at the time.
In other words, there are no right-wing animal groups that arent about encouraging using and killing them. You can just say so instead of trying to deflect with ham sandwiches.
Do you believe animals have rights just like humans?
They do - life, liberty, P of H - but it's not useful for us humans to allow them to have them. Animal cruelty laws need to be made a lot tougher. And of course they need human intercessors in a court of law and at the voting booth.
Sorry you feel the need to politicize basic kindness, and reject it as a "left wing" trait (though appreciate that you recognize it as such). But since you do, where are the right-wing groups that concern themselves with animals? Besides the gun and meat lobbies I mean.
The reason why your response is such an emotional cry full of nonsense is because the OP introduced politics and religion to this thread. Once these things become the issues, humans and animals lose their value in the dialog process. One does not have to be a Republican, Democrat, non-declared, right or left winger, communist, or a socialist to love or to hate animals.
The wolf control programs in Alaska and Canada are conducted to boost the game populations, and only in areas where the wolves are so numerous that the game populations are being decimated. By reducing the number of wolves, the game populations (moose, caribou, and other game animals) increase in number. Once the game population bounces back, the wolf packs left behind thrive. A few years later, the wolf packs are again killing everything in sight, and another wolf control program begins to reduce their number. Nobody in Alaska and Canada wants to exterminate the wolves, the moose, the caribou, bears, etc. And no, nature does not balance itself like some of you have said. The way it is in the wilderness of Alaska is as follows: eat or be eaten. It means that the most cunning of predators will eat the rest, and themselves when there isn't food to eat. It's up to the humans in Alaska to balance the fish, game, and predators structure in accordance with the Alaska Constitution. These programs, both in Alaska and Canada, are conducted in the most efficient and humane way possible.
And yes, there is pain, love, and hate all around us. Before some of you judge what is done in Alaska (or Canada) in relation to predators and pray, look at your own: your family, friends, neighbors, city, animal shelters, and abortion clinics. Don't you see or are aware of child abuse, runaway children, child pornography, sex-slave trade, incest, murder, gang war, and all kinds of things all around you? Plants may not feel pain, but plants are still alive before we devour them. According to some scientists, fish don't feel pain, but I know very well how they react when I catch them (they want to get away from me). And when you chump on a Big Mac, a cow was killed somewhere.

LOL.....you just made my wife have a coughing fit from laughter....
But most are hypocrites when talking about animal rights and priviledges. Wear leather? Eat meat? Enjoy Jello (R)? Use cosmetics tested on animals? Squish a roach? Run over a bunny? Hmmmm...seems like everyone is guilty here of some misdeed against animals.
Things aren't quite as simple as you have made it. By that measure, we should hold anybody killing another human being at the same standard without giving things a second thought.
Nobody's complaining about someone killing a moose for food. But even then, how one goes about killing tells about the person's mental makeup. What is being done in Alaska is not just being irresponsible towards nature, but it is downright disgusting.
I responded to your post because it was so defensive. But in this post you appear to agree, or at least not disagree, with the points made in the collection of quotes.
You must read my previous posts. Then you will understand.
No, millions of people check for "this product not tested on animals," dont buy leather, etc. It's too bad many of us still eat meat. But animal cruelty has got to stop.
Lets hope your shoes are made from the bark of a long dead tree....
What ARE your shoes made of?
Or your belt?
Or your coat?
