Barry is a fool with a huge ego.

Spending on health care, an industry that is NOT IN TROUBLE is not stimulating anything other than socialist ideas.

The Dems will vote for the bill, Barry gets what he wants....But no, because he is a spoiled brat that has gotten his way throughout his life, he is mad that the Reps are debating the bill.

NOTE TO BARRY: You don't need Republican votes and won't get any or just a few. Must be a real drag to be tarred with this insane pork bill and not be able to blame the Republicans in a few months.

His eyes looked all buggy when he went off teleprompter last night and had a little snit fit. Hope you dems enjoy your choice.

I guess it depends on where the money is spent. The money the oil companies are spending on research, etc. is certainly providing an excellent return - to the oil companies. That great military complex is still booming (pun intended). Basically, all of Bush Co.'s 'pet projects' are doing just fine.

I don't see how spending $335 million on condoms will create jobs.

$3 BILLION on Global Warming research will employ a few hundred scientists

The $500 billion spent on the Iraq War had very little positive effects on the economy

IMO stimulus is targeted spending to reach a well defined short term goal.

The guy is a pompous ass.

There is little "stimulus" in this spending bill. The congressional budget office was saying today it will actually have a negative effect on GDP compared to doing nothing.

Also much of the spending in the bill is for later years. Only 17% I believe for 2009. What a waste.
