Obama is in Elkhart, Indiana right now talking directly to the people there who are experiencing a 15% unemployment rate, nearly double the national average. He is very smart to go to the hardest hit areas in person. This is going to have a big impact on the perception of the Republican stonewallers back in Washington.

Then maybe the RV world ought to change if it wants to continue as a viable enterprise.
We can't continue to throw good money after bad.

More of a "he's wasting his time".... most of his words are going to fall on deaf ears... his crowd of 1,500 might support him, but other than that he'll get about the same amount of support in Ft Myers that he'd get in Oklahoma.... not much.
Should he ignore areas of the country that did not support him?

Or you create even more green jobs for people working in RV factories to make them more fuel efficient... making the prospect of buying one more attractive to people who don't want to waste so much money on gas.

There is more to manufacturing/conservation than a radical way of thinking in black or white terms. "Green" is also about devising ways to reduce oil consumption. Chances are, you don't need to buy a "green car" to reduce fuel consumption by 10%. You could achieve a bit of green factor by simply being conservative, in terms of fiscal as well as resource management.

At the same time, not everything is about going green at once. Baby steps are fine and dandy. It is also about being compassionate about the people, and ensuring they don't suffer, and as a result, America.

Give it a break! McCain lost..Obama won.

And not to mention, why would Obama want to copy what the losing McCain/Palin did?

Your posts make no sense..you make no sense just like other Republican users on here.

Long live the Democratic Party!
