Where is this 4 million job figure coming from? Sounds like Obama is just throwing out numbers again like he did with his tax cuts during his campaign.

Bottom line is, this bill is just going to make things worse. If Obama really cares about the American people, he'll scrap this bill and start over from scratch.
Have you read the stimulus bill? Apparently you have, or you would not be able to make the statement you made. What "pork" is there in the bill?

And how do you know this bill is going to make things worse? Are you an economist?

I am not talking about lowering taxes, but pork. NEA and other unions, ACORN, Planned Parenthood, the arts, government agencies that have nothing to do with jobs creations, and so forth.

Is nice to have someone that addresses questions about issues that are not favorable, instead of arresting them if they don't leave. Obama has stolen nothing. Thank you schtyk you always make me laugh with your nonsense.

Again, this package isn't just about creating new jobs, but also protecting existing ones (that might include yours too, if you work). It is also about a whole lot more, which is clearly out of a typical conservative's (or republican) comprehensibility.

As for NEA, you're talking about 5.7 million jobs, $166B in revenue and $30B in taxes to the government. Next...

The stimulus bill isn't ONLY about creating jobs. It's also about sustaining current services for the American people: accessible birth control and health care, protection for workers, etc.--much of which would no longer be available without help. Having said that, I think that both Democrats and Republicans put stuff in the bill that is not essential. That would be true of any stimulus bill, though. It's not the American people putting this thing together, after all.
