The New Hampshire state legislature took an unbelievably bold step today by introducing a resolution to declare certain actions by the federal government to completely totally void and warning that certain future acts will be viewed as a “breach of peace” with the states themselves that risks “nullifying the Constitution.”

Yes, introducing a nonbinding resolution is remarkably bold and forward-thinking.

It's forward thinking if other states follow, and it looks like they are. God bless them too

Finally someone is taking a stand against the corruption. I know which side I'm fighting on, if it makes it that far.

It's been done before. Didn't turn out so well for the Confederacy.

A LOT of Union soldiers died trying to preserve the union. Probably a LOT more will die the second time around.

Also, there's no "cause" to fight for a potential Civil War II.

If enough states back NH and the Gov't continues to violate, those states will either have to say "Just kidding, keep walking all over us, we don't mind. Really." Or "Remember the Resolution we sent you? Yeah, we were serious." Sadly enough, if it comes to a fight, there will be too many that back the Gov't and not their own rights under the Constitution as citizens of America.

Ok, we'll make a deal. NH agrees to stay if MA is kicked out of the union...

Wow, some of the language in that resolution is pretty out there. Well good, I hope Texas follows suit soon - we are pretty independent down here too
