We have to hope Obama's stimulus plans will stimulate the economy so that private enterprise will create jobs and if it works (personally doubtful) then those will create permanent jobs.
Couldn't put it any better than that, get your shovel ready and save your money.

Yeah, I was basically thinking of the jobs I hear about the most: infrastructure and green collar jobs. I think "green collar" jobs will be more lasting though. We'll always need those who can install and maintains solar panels, wind turbines, weatherize homes, etc.
