Obama is telling the government to take a step further.... first people will have interest rate reductions and reduction of principal.. yeah.. they pay less for their home for being irresponsible.... but does it stop there? NOPE.... you think the company would have to socialize their losses with their consumers with the previous scenario BUT Obama wants the government to PAY a part of some people's mortgages... that's right, take taxpayer money and pay part of someone else's mortgage... if you can afford your mortgage, too bad... you get that and someone elses... be irresponsible.... maybe we should all default on our mortgages..... welcome to socialism... but its not nothing new... we been heading down that path for a long time now...

I can't believe all this is going on in addition to the 3 TRILLION dollar package... 2 Trillion for the NEW bank bailout, 350 Billion for TARP, and 780 Billion for "stimulus".... The rewarding of irresponsibility is mind boggling and now he is thinking of PAYING someone else's mortgage.... soon enough he will just outlaw paychecks...

Paying someone else's mortgage with tax dollars IS socialism... and he isn't just looking at it... he was looking at it during the campaign... he is looking to implement it now.... why do you think Geithner was been so vague with the details... nobody but a socialist would look at paying someone else's mortgage with tax dollars...

Did you vote for Bush? If so, I'd say your anger is a bit misdirected.

I didn't vote for Bushy either.
It's called entitlement, the Union libs feeding at the trough want this loan to kick in and take care of them at least for their existence on the planet. They don't care that their kid's kids will be paying it back. Money grows on trees in their world, it isn't earned.

I'm still shaking my head about all of those posters who were stating he will end up being a centrist.
