Last night, 9/11 widow Beverly Eckert became one of 50 victims of the deadly plane crash outside of Buffalo. Beverly was founder of Voices of September 11th, a victim's advocacy group. Here is the opening paragraph from an article penned by her:

Quote:
"I've chosen to go to court rather than accept a payoff from the 9/11 victims compensation fund. Instead, I want to know what went so wrong with our intelligence and security systems that a band of religious fanatics was able to turn four U.S passenger jets into an enemy force, attack our cities and kill 3,000 civilians with terrifying ease. I want to know why two 110-story skyscrapers collapsed in less than two hours and why escape and rescue options were so limited."
Here is what Ann Coulter said about women like her:

Quote:
"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them. ... I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much ... the Democrat ratpack gals endorsed John Kerry for president ... cutting campaign commercials... how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy."
Question: Has anyone heard Ann or any other conservative columnist/pundit rejoicing in Beverly's death?

I am sure Ann is happy to hear of this woman's death.

Okay here goes Ann Coulter is a self absorbed luantic fringe b*tch with an attitude . I detest her and I think she must have had a very unhappy childhood to hate people she has never even met . she is the epitomy of b*tches and I feel really sorry for her . Oh and by the way she makes millions off her books so in essence she is living off of the backs of others so what does that make her ? She is also the essence of pure evil and I think sometimes she goes a little too far and one day someone is going to forget they are interviewing her and jump up and slap her and I for one would give that person a medal cause that is what she so obviously needs is a can of whoop a*s opened up on her .

Wow, hatin on the Ann! Was I the only one who thought the families of the 911 survivors were better treated than our military families? Did not see any Iraq widows/widowers bankrolling the millions. No they just suck it up and get their meager pension/death benefit. That is what you should be mad about.

I'm not an Ann hater or lover but I really think those comments as posted in the OP were overboard and uncalled for.

50 people died and you make this a partisan issue. What is wrong with some of you? I'm sure the survivors of these poor people are gratified you care enough to use their deaths to further some hate agenda. Anne Coulter couldn't be any nastier and hateful than many of you attacking her.
And I do not like Anne Coulter. She's right down there with Keith Olbermann and Al Franken in the sewer of political commentary.

The only mention of it is right here.
FYI: You are using Ann Coulter's words in the exact same fashion that Ann used the 9/11 widow's words.
