Strategic thinking is definitely not your best attribute. Here let me help you: The US does not need oil from Iraq, what it needs to do is to control the flow of oil. In short; he who controls the oil controls the world. Get it?

Yeah, but that is your buddy Obama doing it. I thought one of the reasons you guys voted for him was to end the war quickly? Maybe he isn't the change you were hoping for.

I hope Obama changes course and gets out of Afghanistan.

It may be wise to remember the immortal words of Rudyard Kipling.

If your officer's dead and the sergeants look white,
Remember it's ruin to run from a fight:
So take open order, lie down, and sit tight,
And wait for supports like a soldier.
Wait, wait, wait like a soldier . . .

When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains
An' go to your Gawd like a soldier.
Go, go, go like a soldier,
Go, go, go like a soldier,
Go, go, go like a soldier,

The Afghan people can lay claim to ruining two empires this past century,
The British and Russian.
Does America need to be next?

Hey genius, it already did, under Bush over the last couple of years. Where have you been? They have Taliban in the government for chrissake.

You'd know all about that. Guess who essentially co-wrote the Iraqi Constitution? Guess who is in line to get the BIG oil contracts after the dust settles? Guess who wasn't when Saddam was in power? Guess which country now is estimated to have the second largest oil reserves in the world?

Actually yes it is.

Most of the "Anti-War" crowd was vehemently against invading Iraq where AQ was not, while leaving Afghanistan were AQ actually was. While guys like you cheered for the lunacy from the sidelines and stuck magnets on your cars, the rest of us were left wondering why we were not going after the bad guys.

Years after our occupation of Iraq we come to find out that Bushie and his cronies didn't even understand the difference between a Shia and a Sunni before going in. What a joke, all supported by guys like you who, I'd bet, didn't know the difference either, and probably still don't.

In other words, a group of inept chickenhawk cowards who failed to get the bad guys have been replaced by a leader who understands we can't allow Bush's failures to fester. That we must clean up your disgraceful mess, before it gets even worse.

I had high hopes for obama. He can now keep his change- it'll be more disaster after disaster with him and his bogus stimulus money. What will his excuse be when this next near trillion dollar waste doesn't help the economy? Oh, we had to spend more in afghanistan. And idiots will buy it.

We need more troops in Afghanistan, do you guys know anything about this war? Just because Iraq was a disaster and a pointless war doesn't mean this one is too. Afghanistan actually had ties to 9/11 and such, and is where we should have pointed our attention to. And 12GO, why are you writing off the stimulus bill when you know nothing about it, and was just signed in today? It was the best idea we had on the table to build the economy, but you don't like it just cuz Obama signed it in?

You Obama bashers are impossible.
