There is no National Gun Control bill in Congress.
HR 45 has been introduced in the House , but has no co-sponsors.
It's DOA. There is no Senate counterpart . The same bill got a total of 16 co-sponsors in 2007. That's 16 out of 435 members in the House.

HR 45 is a national gun license scheme. It would be complete waste of money.
Mr. Obama is (IMO) much too smart to commit political suicide for a lost cause like gun control. Sure , this is the most anti-gun administration in history , but the boss is no idiot.
He needs traction , so gun control gets thrown under the bus.

You know, you're messing with their paranoid delusions and it's not really fair, because it's all they've got.

Actually , I'm messing with the gun-grabbers' delusions of adequacy.

Perhaps you remember DC v Heller? You know , when the Appeals Court threw out the DC gun ban so DC took the case to SCOTUS.

It seems that the Obama Administration is now defending the new CCW in National Parks rules. Who'd a' thunk it?
Due process is a wonderful thing.

I pretty much agree with you. Don't know about the banksters and politicians going to FEMA camps but, when the "feel good" society breaks down and the unprepared starving try to take from those of us who have prepared, then things are going to get pretty messy. I pray to God it doesn't come to that.

Maybe some folks ought to check out "The Ant and the Grasshopper" and/or "The Little Red Hen".

Oh, I forgot. The Federal Governmet is going to take care of us all.

As much as I like a citizen revolution as the next anarchist, I can't see it happening. By logical extension, ever since after the articles of confederation, Americans have been slowly watching their liberties become eroded. Why start here instead of any point in history since 1777.
Can I see a revolution at a federal level? No.
Could it happen at a state level? Very small possibility. Wyoming? New Hampshire? Possibly! Anywhere where states rights are respected.
On a county level, 50/50 depends, probably over taxation. Wish it were over property.

Regretfully, the only moment the American people were truly free were between the end of the revolutionary war and the declaration of Independence, it's been bigger government ever since.

confiscation of firearms is an evil and should be clearly seen as such. public safety is not and never was the motive. 40% of homocides are puncture wounds.

(Incidentally the economic mess was caused by Dem control of the house since 2006 - the House of Representatives is where spending bills originate.)

But now, we have an illegal alien in the white house, who's threatening to chip away or outright deny the 1st and 2nd Amendment rights of half of America's citizenry and racially and religiously discriminate against them ... so you do the math.
Right hopping mad--illegal alien.
I suggest you "SEEK TRUTH".
