Why isn't Obama's "hope and change" working?

And why is Obama demanding that we pay the mortgages for irresponsible people?

How is spending nearly a trillion dollars while you're in debt going to get you out of debt?

If spending nearly a trillion dollars grew the economy then we'd be doing it every single year now wouldn't we!?

You've got look past the $600 million in propaganda ... a Great Depression is coming!

I beg you pardon, "the one" most certainly has brought change.

He has helped change a struggling market to a tanking market. Quite the change for one month on the job (or in his case continued campaign).

I wonder what other fantastic change the one has up his sleeves to complete the makeover of the U.S. into a third world country?

Just keep praying for failure so you can tell everyone "Look! I told you I was right!". Your ego's pride is far more important than solutions to this chaos created by the last 8 years.

You're so desperate for Obama to fail you have actually convinced yourself he is after just a month because that's what you want.

Funny thing is that he defied every odd and criticism at every step of the way. While you may disagree with his tactics, there's nothing to indicate that he won't do it again.

It's time to grow up. Seriously. It's really time to grow up and stop seeing the world in black and white.

I think the DOW going down is actually a good sign. Many of the top economists in the Country have said that when the DOW and S&P drop and stay down and come up slow and steady then real recovery has begun. The DOW should go to under 7500 and stay there, then it will start to come up. Did you actually think anything or anyone could cure our problems in a few months? This going to take years.....grow up!

Think about it.....this makes sense.

Bluefly,

He made promises on the campaign trail. He claimed he was the man for the job to fix the economy. He isn't. He has no experience. He has no clue how $50k a year jobs with benefits are created. He's put tax cheats in his cabinet.

He's taking money from people who work hard and pay their mortgages and giving it to irresponsible people who are in foreclosure.

He's pumped $5 billion into ACORN! How is that going to grow the economy, etc., etc.

If you can't see this for what it is, then you've been bought with $600 million in propaganda and would have fell for Hitler and the Germany media's propaganda in 1935 Germany. You've got to ask yourself this question, would you have fallen for the propaganda or not?

I voted for Bush twice but said "goodbye" to being a follower after 2006 if I can question the president I voted for then why can't you? The evidence is there don't be a tool.

Well, tell that to the people who are seeing their retirement money disappear and will now have to work many years longer than they anticipated. ESPECIALLY tell that to the folks who were a couple of years from retirement and now can't even consider it. Personally, I don't care as I never played the stock market but I DO feel for the many people I know who are taking a beating.

The folks you are referring to won't have their retirement unless their employers were smarter than most. But these people who were planning to retire in the next 2-3 years will probobly not be able too, if their 401K's were in stocks. They will have to wait.

I know many people who had no choice about their 401K's. They were investments made through their employers and they had no choice. The truth is Teatime it is going to be a very long road to recovery and there are no quick fixes.

Dust off your old Y2K bunker and move back in. The sky's about to fall. Be sure to take a case of peanut butter with you.
