You now see that the government is the cause of the problem and a major impediment in it getting solved. And you see that Obama is only a politician just like Bush was and no more or less able to correct things or lead us. So now that the rational people are finally seeing that its up to us, not them, to help ourselves, we can take back the reins of power and force the change we've been denied. 4 years of a lame duck president and a revolving door cabinet won't be so bad.
Actaully all that happened is one group of special interest where exchnaged for another. Coming from Chicago politics what could be expected.But there is always tomorrow and no president spends more than eight years in office.This one will be lucky to last more than four with the start he's gotten off to.
Commercials that tell you to take out money on your home, "Up to 125%", advertising mortgages with no money down, or a first and second rolled into ARM, companies no longer feeling a need to offer heath insurance to lure in the best workers, 5 or 6 credit card offers in the mail a week, even to a college student with no income. This is why we are in a mess. Simple as that. Just my 2 cents. Note no political blame, they are all tainted.

you're wrong, government isn't the problem soley, it's part of the problem. Obama is a better leader than bush by far.
