If this is the ideal conservative candidate, she will serve as proof positive that intelligence and conservative ideology have parted company. I can hear Rush Limbaugh endorsing Palin during the 2012 campaign. What a contradiction of values that would be. It would sound like Don Imus endorsing Oral Roberts!
I am a Conservative Republican. I think she would make a poor president. She is not the future of the Republican Party. The future is Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Mark Sanford, Jon Huntsman, Bobby Jindal, Mitch Daniels, Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann, Jason Chaffetz, Eric Cantor, and there are many more.

You said a mouthful right there. If this country hasn't had enough abuse and loss yet, then voting this bimbo into office would be the way to top the last 8 years. With her general lack of knowledge and sophistication, what a joke she would be. We would all be praying for the boy from Texas to step forward. What a mess.
I am happy for Alaska if they love her and she does what is needed up there, whatever. However it makes me shudder how close she came to being in a really pivotal roll like VP, a heartbeat (not even a strong heartbeat) away from the presidency.
