Will America experience a 'depression' or just a 'recession' in 2008-2009? Are you prepared? How?
hyperinflationary environment. Actually worse than a depression.
On the bright side, consumer spending will be up. People might be spending millions of dollars on the basic necessities and everyone will be a millionaire/billionaire.
We are already in a recession. The real question is: "Will there be a depression?" - i.e., like that of the "Great Depression" following the Stock Market crash in 1929. I'm personally not very optimistic.

The economy is weak right now, but we are not yet in recession.
Times are pretty good here in Texas. The national media is trying to put a fright into everyone. I do think the rest of the country is in a recession, though. Maybe I'm listening to the idot box too much?
If Americans would stop whining and listening to the gloom and doom on the idiot box, then there should be neither.
/sarcasm
OMG you said neither! That means:
"I get my financial advice from John McCain and George Bush"
So, you must be just another lackey for the Bush crowd?
