There will be less whining if more people could differentiate between fiscal responsibility and fiscal conservativeness.

I'm a sucker for responsibility, accountability and pragmatism and can't stand ideologues who believe in one size fits all.

Yes. He ran on a platform of fiscal responsibility. How was he to know that the economy was about to crash? Nobody knew.

You people are just looking for a reason to hate him.

Among the earmarks was one sponsored by Rep. Howard Berman, D-Calif., who secured $200,000 for a “tattoo removal violence outreach program” in Los Angeles.

I suppose everyone understands that the $410 billion omnibus appropriations bill is not new money. It simply replaces the 2008 numbers currently authorized in the continuing resolution with 2009 numbers from this bill.

We don't hate him, we just don't see how you bots still believe in him, I mean this is a man that promised no earmarks during his speech last night, yet his spending contains plenty, so where is the outrage?

No bill gets out of Congress without riders and/or earmarks. Ever.

And where's the "outrage" over the past 8 years of neo-con trashing of the country? Never hear much about that from the Repubs. Wonder why.
