You should read history books on Hitler instead of email propaganda. As a student of history, I can assure you there are barely shreds of reality in this "biography".

I remember getting one of these conservative emails (and they are a uniquely conservative phenomenon) before the election with all these "quotes" from Obama attacking white people and celebrating Islam. I did some research and discovered that they were all taken out of context, distorted beyond recognition, or completely made up to try and paint him as some radical through false propaganda. Yet, sure enough, a very educated, intelligent, passionate conservative forwarded it to me as if it were fact.

Show us a better way that works and you may well win our support. The last 8 years were an utter failure. Reagan adjusted well the rampant liberalism of the 60s and 70s but ran up the biggest deficits in history and didn't correct them before he left office.

Oh wait, that was Obama...not Hitler. Hitler struggled to find his place academically and was rejected in his attempts to study painting and failed in his attempts to become an architect.
Your email leaves out the deep occult that Hitler pursued and makes it seem as if Obama was raised in a religion (he wasn't - he was raised in a secular home). It reinterprets the physical abuse Hitler endured from his father as "my father showed no interest in me" so that it would sound like Obama.
I could go on and on. It's just outrageous what you're trying to imply about Obama who has been nothing but a model citizen and a strong embodiment of conservative family values.

As for his going to a "Muslim school" for 2 years when he was really young, why that would matter? Are you afraid of Muslims? Do you think they are inherently evil or dangerous? A lot of Muslims were in my high school - head scarves and beards and everything. They were usually amongst the smartest, most peaceful students.

"But reporting by CNN in Jakarta, Indonesia and Washington, D.C., shows the allegations that Obama attended a madrassa to be false. CNN dispatched Senior International Correspondent John Vause to Jakarta to investigate.
He visited the Basuki school, which Obama attended from 1969 to 1971.
"This is a public school. We don't focus on religion," Hardi Priyono, deputy headmaster of the Basuki school, told Vause. "In our daily lives, we try to respect religion, but we don't give preferential treatment."
Vause reported he saw boys and girls dressed in neat school uniforms playing outside the school, while teachers were dressed in Western-style clothes.
"I came here to Barack Obama's elementary school in Jakarta looking for what some are calling an Islamic madrassa ... like the ones that teach hate and violence in Pakistan and Afghanistan," Vause said on the "Situation Room" Monday. "I've been to those madrassas in Pakistan ... this school is nothing like that."
Vause also interviewed one of Obama's Basuki classmates, Bandug Winadijanto, who claims that not a lot has changed at the school since the two men were pupils. Insight reported that Obama's political opponents believed the school promoted Wahhabism, a fundamentalist form of Islam, "and are seeking to prove it."
"It's not (an) Islamic school. It's general," Winadijanto said. "There is a lot of Christians, Buddhists, also Confucian. ... So that's a mixed school."
