Looks like the game is up.
Remember that story Bobby Jindal told in his big speech Tuesday night -- about how during Katrina, he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with a local sheriff who was battling government red tape to try to rescue stranded victims?
Turns out it wasn't actually, you know, true. <snip><snip>

Here's the link with the full story.

Jindal's prospects for national political office are now toast.

Who's up next for the Repubs, now known as the Christian Social Conservative Party of the South?

Yeah, he definitely gave the impression during his speech that he played a part in making the rescues happen - now it most definitely turns out that he didn't at all. It was a definitely embellishment of his role - that's for sure.

And didn't that Brownie do a hell of a job????

Evry time the GOP sticks their foot in their collective mouth, it always amuses me to see them cram the other one in there too.

You would think that if he were going to lie, he could have at least come up with a more interesting and compelling story.

Oh, I see the palinization of Jindal has begun even quicker than I thought.

Here's what happens to any charismatic fiscal and social conservative. The DNC puts out the word to their allies in the mainstream media to destroy them so they can't threaten for national election. How many times have we seen it? Any of those four would be an outstanding president. So much better than the socialist manchild. BTW, they tried to destroy Bush, but he defeated them at every turn. GWB 4-0 vs the liberal pukes.

George Allen
Rick Santorum
Tom DeLay
Sarah Palin
