Actually, if enough banks fold, it absolutely will.

This is what I preach! Let me see.You have the FDIC who sets aside $1.06 per every $100and an insurance company who sets aside by law, $108.50 per every $100Which one do you want to go with??Yes, the key word is might. Might or Might Not. Too many mights for me!The truth is, if too many banks go under, there is no might they will. The only way they won't is if proper action is taken and in a timely enough manner. Might work, might not, but I'll stick with my life insurance companies, only the ones who don't rely on mortgage back securities that is!

Checks would be worthless, but cash I believe would still have a value. Because it is the banks going under, there would still be products sold in grocery stores and one could purchase with cash, but not plastic or checks, and one would assume that not all of them are going to go under, just the FDIC, meaning, if your bank is still around, you could still use them, there would just be no insurance on your money if your bank were to become insolvent. I'm not sure but it's a good question.

But you can't bankrupt the Fed's printing presses. Maybe that's what the bankers relied upon all along. They know that the Fed can "heal all wounds" regardless of how much is stolen.

Yeah, sure...print more and more, get hyperinflation, and soon we're burning paper money for fuel...
