I still thnk it's funny that repubs listen to a radio celebrity and value every word of this entertainment celebrity.
I thought they hated celebrities speaking up...
Well, to you (and it's your mistake) Rush may simply be a "radio celebrity". Remember that Ronald Reagan was also "just an actor".
Rush, as Reagan did, articulates conservatism, and he does it well. He is only a "celebrity" because his message is is what people want to hear; i.e., most of his listeners agree with him. He is a leader, and he speaks the truth.
Can't help it if you think he is just a "radio celebrity". That does not make his point of view or his arguments invaid. It only confims that it is what people want to hear. It is the most listened to talk show in America.
What does that tell you? Hint: It doesn't tell you that most people are liberals.

I used to be an advid listener of Rush. I still tune in on occasion. He does make some valid points. My issue with him is he tends to belabor a point to death. I get it. He doesn't like or agree with Obama, or Obama's circle of friends.
I don't agree with the latest spendfest. I don't like a few of his cab selections or his Atty General. Point out the facts demonstrate why they are flawed move on. I listened to Rush friday and after 10 minutes turned him off. Thats the first time ever that he just wore me down that fast.
Fact. This country is in the tank due to both parties self serving and spendfest mentalities.
Not quite, though Bush was spending like a drunken sailor, and not making anyone very happy (but Bush isn't a conservative either). But the main reason we are in the position we are in is because of the CRA and the goverment (and Barak Obama did this as a "community organizer" for ACORN) forcing banks to make loans to people who couldn't afford them, and the mismanagement of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by the Democrats who were in control of them.
And Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer and a few others (including Barak Obama) were feathering there own nests with Fannie Mae funds.
These people should be under investigation, not the bank CEO's and others whom the Democrats have been questioning before the Congress. These politicians are as crooked as a stick, and yet they are the ones who are going to "fix" things? They caused it! Give me a break! As Jim Traficant used to say, "Beam me up, Mr. Speaker!"

Obama works for us, not the other way around, and he and the Democrats are sworn to uphold the Constitutiion of the United States of America, not change it, which is what they are trying to do.
Americans are going to have to rise up and assert themselves against this "domestic enemy" of our freedom.
Where were you when the so-called "Patriot Act" was passed? It remains the biggest single attack on our liberties since the Constitution was written.

Is abortion on demand a "Christian view"
Is redistibution of wealth a "Christian view" (charity is, but not theft).
Is any form of socialism a "Christian view"? Show me chapter and verse and be prepared to back up your claim.
Some think Jesus was a liberal (he wasn't). Is that your view? Back it up with scripture.

I don't think you've ever read the Bible, or you wouldn't make such a statemment. God commanded whole cities that were evil to be wiped out, leaving nothing behind.
