A racist used to be someone who hated a particular race because of their
skin color. It now means someone who is winning an argument with a
liberal.

Judging by how often it is used and by whom around here I would have come to the exact opposite conclusion. In fact as of late it seems to be the main source of conservative political cover.

Don't forget a racist is also someone who welcomes immigrants to this country but prefers that they do so legally and with proper documentation.

Like most other subjective terms..."hate", "oppression", "inclusive", "fair", "unequal". "equal". etc etc etc etc...."racist" can mean just about anything anybody wants it to mean, according to how he feels at the moment....from the most oppressive treatment of another person, to the completely silly...It's ALL 'racism' to sombody.

As a result, most of these words lost their meaning years ago....so now, what's an example of 'racism?'..I don't know..what do you WANT it to be?....probably has something to do with 'hate', right?....(of course, who knows what HATE means nowadays?).....

My all time favorite is when posters on this forums cry racism for just about anything, and in the same post use terms to describe whites living in the south as Hicks, white trash, rednecks etc..etc..

Funny stuff.

I find that funny too. The poster usually claims to be a tolerant liberal.

Absolutely right..two of the BIGGEST groups of racists running around loose today are those who express concern over illegal immigration, and those who fear terrorism. You know where they're REALLY coming from.....right?..

Indeed.

By the way, anybody dares to disagree with me is obviously a racist.

We are free to feel the way we want to feel about people. We are also free to believe what we want to believe about people. It is our actions that label us. If we make decisions based on those beliefs or feelings then we are racist. The same way if a person claims to be a Christian and does not use Christian ideals and beliefs to guide his actions, he is not a Christian. No one wants to live in a free society if we cannot believe and feel they way we want to about people right or wrong. Only people with the power to transform their ideas into actions can be truly be racist, the rest are just ignorant .
