Obama Declares War on Investors, Entrepreneurs, Businesses, And More - Money and Politics Blog - CNBC.com

Quote:
He is declaring war on investors, entrepreneurs, small businesses, large corporations, and private-equity and venture-capital funds.

That is the meaning of his anti-growth tax-hike proposals, which make absolutely no sense at all — either for this recession or from the standpoint of expanding our economy’s long-run potential to grow.

Study after study over the past several decades has shown how countries that spend more produce less, while nations that tax less produce more. Obama is doing it wrong on both counts.

And as far as middle-class tax cuts are concerned, Obama’s cap-and-trade program will be a huge across-the-board tax increase on blue-collar workers, including unionized workers. Industrial production is plunging, but new carbon taxes will prevent production from ever recovering. While the country wants more fuel and power, cap-and-trade will deliver less.
Obama's philosophy; Punish those that are a vital commodity to this country and her economy.

Definitely trickle-down depression.

Every mom, dad, aunt, uncle who own a 401K or retirement savings account is an investor.

The middle class is the only defense protecting the uber wealthy from the entitlement poor.

After he tears down the fence of middle class (which won't be long), you'll see some horrible consequences to the safety of this country.

There is no way to borrow our way into making us all financially and materially equal, and as soon as the poor figure that out, there will be blood in the hills and in the streets. No business will be able to function normally.

Security businesses are going to Boom!

Obama is doing what he said he was going to before we elected him! What a refreshing thing!

End the Iraq war in 16 months?
oh and these little nuggets....

1. Make government open and transparent.

2. Make it "impossible" for Congressmen to slip in pork barrel projects.

3. Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public. (Even Congressional Republicans shut out.)

4. No more secrecy.

5. Public will have 5 days to look at a bill.

6. You’ll know what’s in it.

7. We will put every pork barrel project online.

He's a regular honest Abe..

Obama is doing no such thing. It's just fear-mongering-as-usual on Wingnut Planet.

The republicans and their supporters declared war on the working people, I'm glad someone is fighting back.

Isn't it funny: When the U.S. government redistributes income from the middle class to the rich, that's capitalism. That's the "real America." But when we FINALLY get a President who redistributes income BACK to middle class, that's "socialism." That's the "end of America."

What crapola.

Those who control society are not wont to let it go very easily. They will convince themselves the sky is falling even though the rise of the wealthiest middle class in history was predicated upon these very ideologies.
