Now we can all go on to something else, like Obama's birth certificate. Is there a thread on that?
And yet, you can't refute any part of my definition. LOL. Leftwinger after leftwinger. All they can do is talk about something OTHER than what my airtight definition is saying. I guess facing their own hypocrisy is tough sledding.

1) Is a ten year old in Iraq alive before being shredded by mortars?

(to the tune of the Mickey Mouse Club)
H. Y. P..... O....C...R....I.S.I.E.S.

What's it spell? Hyprocisy.... Hypocrisy....

If the egg is given proper fertilization (or nutrition and care as you call it) it too will become a human being....so that would seem to me to be the same situation wouldn't it ?
If you give an unfertilized egg nutrition and protection, it only grows into an old unfertilized egg. It is not an embryo. It fails the test of my definition.

The difference is a 10 year old does not have to feed off of a singular host to "live".

Stay on topic, friend. Besides that, you're wrong. A baby is a separate entity.

Go back to class.
I didn't say "alive". I said "embryo". A sperm is not an embryo. An egg is not an embryo.

It's a scientific fact.

End the hypocrisy and we'll listen. Life is life is life. You want to be pro-life, then stand up and be pro-life in all regards.

Otherwise, you're just trying to control women and force them to be subjects of the state, which last I checked is not very conservative.
Interesting you don't deny my proof that your affinity for abortion means you are killing living human beings. A million people are being killed every year by abortion. That's more deaths than any war. How on earth do you justify mass-killings on that scale?

You can have your definition. You seem very happy with it. It legitimizes your beliefs. Great! (I mean it!) It does not, however, end the debate on abortion. Nothing ever will.

Fortunately, the rest of us are not required to live life by your definition.

If I take a bag of grass seed, mix in fertilizer, then leave it in the wheelbarrow, is that the same thing as a lawn?

Stay on topic. You were talking about an embryo. Now you bring up babies.

I thought your definition says that the embryo needs "adequate nutrition and care." If it's a separate entity, then an embryo can live without the mother?
