As I said in another thread, obama has put a few coins in one pocket and stole your wallet out of the other. It's the easiest street scam around. The fact that so many people about obama are sycophants and can't read the fine print or do basic math, tells me our education system is terrible.

So the folks below $250K get $8 or $13 a week. Nice. But once the Bush tax cuts end ANYONE that actually pays taxes is going to get a tax increase to offset that. Not to mention other taxes that will increase like gas tax.

We are on a nasty path of destroying initiative and innovation while we reward those that are not productive.

My sister is a substitute teacher. One of her 13 year old students told her recently her goal in life was to get pregnant ASAP and get a check from the guvment like her mom so she could be like mum and watch tv all day. My sister asked so that is all you want to do with your life, watch tv, you don't want to go to Australia, or be a nurse, or fly in a hot air balloon, something, some goal at all? Nope was the answer. My sister works in schools filled with welfare kids and they all have the same attitudes. That is the direction this country is going with obama in charge. Didn't start with him, but he is accelerating it.

I've been listening to Rush everyday thanks to Rush 24/7 and he is probably the only person actually pushing aside the fluff/hysteria/sycohantic/worship about obama and has really delved into the fine print of what obama is up to.

Fixed it for ya!

I can certainly join in Rush's denunciation of what BHO is doing; it's devastating to see one's country being turned into a socialist/marxist society. And make no mistake, that is what we are seeing occur, and at an astonishing rate.

Rush said today that it cannot be stopped, but it can be slowed down. I think that's optimistic, because I don't see anything at this point that can even slow it down.

I weep for this Republic, in her final days as such.

Last Limbaugh thread we had someone say because Limbaugh vacations in the Caribbean, he is a pedophile. That makes as much sense as saying because someone traveled to the Netherlands they smoked dope and availed themselves of street whores.

Not mention all the name calling saying he's a pig, limpbag, whatever.

What I would like to see liberals or lefties actually listen to his show, take something that he has said and debate the merits or demerits of it and actually have a grown up conversation about the issues rather than name calling.

Because to me when someone can't debate the issues as a grown up and has to resort to name calling it tells me they don't have a leg to stand on.

And no I don't want to here some quote from 1993 or 2005 or whatever. It's about as relevant or interesting as discussing the Clintons business dealings in Arkansas. We've been there, done that, it's history now.

One of the few things that Clinton did was welfare reform and obama is going to undue that asap.

We as a people will have to protest. I related a story in another thread about how it only took two people to rally hundreds to protest a dramatic property tax increase and it got overturned.

Instead of having the attitude of "oh fred will do it", it needs to be us individually that have to stand up and fight.

2010 is a long way away, but now is the time to organize.

BTW Rush is giving a speech tomorrow at C-PAC.

Oh he's trimming his new budget? That's a good idea. I was getting worried there for a minute.

No, he's trimming what already exists in Bush's budget--which is the budget we are currently operating under.

I'm a small business owner and I can assure you, I will not make over $200K while Robin Hood in is office and this asinine rule he put in place are reversed. I'll lay/fire people first and scale back. I have ZERO incentive to grow and expand. Oh I'll get a tax credit of $1500 to hire someone ... big freaking deal! Not hiring them will save me $30K-$40K now that's a incentive.

Most small business owner make less money then the people working for them, as the owner you get paid last if at all and I've gone months without a pay check before, but I'm rich. HA!!! Obama is clueless how business works he needs to go back to Chicago and sue banks for ACORN.

Maybe I'll just let it go under, get a bailout and live off welfare and food stamps ... naw I have this nasty thing called pride and ethics.

So you'd shoot yourself in the foot to spite yourself, by deliberately not making more than $200K? Isn't the tax increase only 3%?

Many of those people making 250K or more are business owners and if taxes are raised, how does Obama expect these small business owners to create more jobs? Rush can be an idiot sometimes but I have to agree with what he said today. I am also starting to feel like this country is headed in the wrong direction. I have never thought of myself as a Dittohead but Rush is starting to make a lot of sense!
These are income taxes. Business owners who gross $250K+ - almost $30K per month - from their businesses are not running their companies out of the household piggy bank.
