Have any of you here looked in on CPUSA lately. Their webpage contains a spot that allows one to see what they stand for. Here is an article that allows one to see their wants and desires cut down to a very useful brevity that allows us to see things that most don't want to see. What is that? Read the article and then tell me the parts that don't make any sense.

Your link delivers a 404.

I doubt the CPUSA pretends to be anything other than what they are, though.... here's their own site:

Poor souls.

In the 1930's under Earl Browder the CPUSA fought against the New Deal, but when the U.S. declared war on Nazi Germany ended its opposition in order to aid the Soviet Union in its "war against fascism" at the end of the war the CPUSA dropped its communist agenda and transformed itself into the Communist Political Association in attempt to join in a united front.

A similar transformation happened after the downfall of the Soviet Union. Left without its historic example of the "perfect socialist state" the CPUSA in the 1990's chose to view the Republican Party as a neo-fascist threat and dropped its own Marxist agenda and attempted to align itself, critically, with the Democratic Party by adopting its "reformist" agenda.

In short the CPUSA is parasitical in nature and not unlike David Duke's National Association for the Advancement of White People.

If you for a moment think that the current platform of the CPUSA bears even a shade of resemblance to a Marxist Party then you are further demonstrating that you haven't a clue about the history of radical movements in the US.

I quite often go there to see just what they are saying and what is in this article shows that almost all of what they list as what they want is what has happened already. Lets try an attempt at a new link.

I would recommend that you read from that site now and then and especially from the link you provided. My sample with the wrong link may well simplify the whole thing for you. You need to read it just to see how far off the mark you really are in what you said. Historically you are very spot on but I don't think you have read a lot on the CPUSA site lately.

Try this site: American Thinker: Bingo! Call It Communism

Thanks for the link, roysoldboy. So you're hoping this is Obama's plan, that's he's stealthily turning the US communist?

*sigh*

Did you watch Geithner or Bernanke on TV today? Or do you read financial news?

If you think for a moment that the CPUSA has substantially changed its agenda and goals since the 1920s, then you are just the kind of gullible fool (or "Useful Idiot" as Joe Stalin put it) that they want, to uncritically recite what you've been told with no concern for its truth or falsehood.

I don't know ovcatto well enough to call out the communist word but do know that what I read in that post is true. Now today the CPUSA has a totally different aim concerning the USA and you can see it compared to what has happened in the last month and a half through our government in that link two or three posts before this one. I am sure that you will like seeing that comparison so please read the article.

Hoping that Obama wants to do that? Surely not, I don't want to think about that at all. However, can you show me one place where the comparison of the Democrat actions of the last month or so and what the Communists have portrayed on their web site? If please do so since I don't want to think we have come that close to what they want in such a short time.

I don't want to think that some of the leadership of the Congress is taking some of the other members into their use as useful idiots.
