Will an America with free health care destroy our caplitalist society? (unemployment, ethical)

Universal health care would be the same thing as giving a tax cut to corporations and small business because they wouldn't have to pay for their employees health insurance.
If you are pro-business, you should support Universal health care.

That is not the reason. In countries with national healthcare, there aren't enough facilities to serve all people. What happens is that the system is very expensive and each year politicians try to cut the budget. It results in fewer facilities with fewer services. It is very easy to have a national system, but the system quickly deteriorates and in 2-3 years becomes almost unusable. To make things work, Obama may need to cap costs of healthcare. This again may lead to lower standards.
What if the future administration has no money (we will need to pay our debt) and cuts drastically the universal health budget? The waiting lines will be very very long.

You are wrong. If you cut national healthcare in any country currently using it, IMMEDIATLEY, the crowding in the existing medical facilities would fall dramatically. Similiarly, the existing facilities in the US would fill up. I havent had a physical, or a check up, hell, havent been to the doctor except for when I had a 104 temperature in the past 5 years because I cant afford it. However, if it were free, well gee, maybe Id get that cat scan I should have gotten 5 years ago, or maybe Id get the torn tendons in my knee repaired. I wonder how many people out there are like me.......
Additionally, are you aware that the US spends more on health per person then any other country by FAR, and still has a pitiful showing for it? Fact is, the US "private insurance" system is far more inefficient and bloated then any goverment run program on the globe. Cutting out the insurance middle man likely would reduce costs by 30% alone.

General Motors spends more on health insurance than all the steel and metals used in its cars. If US companies are to compete in a global market in which we all know now how joined at the hip we truly are with foreign countries, especially manufacturing, how are we going to do that with very high health insurance cost attached to our products more so than lets say Japan or China?

Nothing has yet been proposed. I heard on the news this morning that a "summit" is being called by Obama to discuss health care. They even said a single-payer system would probably be considered too radical for the US. That is the system in Canada (province by province), the UK, and a few other countries.
Universal Health Care means universal access, probably with employer mandates (all employers over a certain size being required to provide ins), some method for paying for it for the unemployed, etc.
Everyone needs to live in a "free health care" society or just plain socialism then you will think twice!!!!! I have and I am telling you we have it good.

If fact, we're drifting away from a capitalistic society to one that is run by corporations. East India company or the Hudson Bay company, anyone? But more than these corporations, the self-defeaters are really who are dragging this country down.

Agreed. Not to sway too far off topic, but what never gets mentioned, especially by those on the pro-business extreme, is that a capitalistic society requires competition to remain healthy. Left unattended, capitalism becomes self-destructive, as large companies buy-out competitors and stifle innovation. Keeping a competitive environment is indeed a function of government. If left to their own devices, capitalistic enterprises will feed upon each other, with the end result being monopoly or oligargy. Hardly desirable, and very anti- free market.
