Once people had a chance to LISTEN to what Palin had to see; the lies, the snarkiness the shallowness, many Rs started to call for her to resign from the ticket so McCain could "salvage something". Apparently the R party's love affairs with their heroes has a shelf life of 3 weeks or less.

More Rs are coming out for Steele to bail out of his RNC position. And who was the first to call for Steele to go? None other than "he's not our party leader", Rush Limbaugh.

"The GOP is irrelevant." Those words were spoken this week by none less than Ronald Reagan's political advisor, Ed Rollins.

Worse than irrelevant, the GOP as we see it today is an ugly cartoon of:
- southern / redneck white racists
- bible thumping evango-fascist goons
- millionaire televangelists who preach INtolerance and hatred
- millionaire corporate thieves, er, I meant "bankers"
- millionaire midwestern farmers who got that way via federal farm subsidies
- millionaire western cattlemen who get free grazing on federal lands
- millionaire oilmen who get cheap mineral rights in federal auctions that are little more than virtual giveaways
- millionaire "small business" types who got that way using illegal alien labor at starvation wages and no benefits

Are any of the usual GOP geniuses on here smart enough to detect the pattern emerging from the above list .....

The above stated factions of the GOP are happy to suckle at the federal nipple, while squealing like poked pigs if someone wants to fund health care, schools, or most anything that doesn't make THEM richer. Until the GOP gets past idiots like Joe the Plumber and empty skirts like Sarah Palin, they have NO future.
