Umm....

1. I asked you to embrace a nation, not a comic's viewpoint.

2. I've never said anything about Rush, so you can take your little rant protecting your fuhrer elsewhere. I'm quite moderate and this has nothing to do with Rush.

3. You have effectively shot the messenger and completely ignored the message. Well done. Tactic worked well on Al Gore as well.

Haha, that was great.
I like how he points out the DOW's reaction to Reagan's election (DOW didn't like Reagan!).

I've caught Stewart giving good interviews (asking good questions) so I've started watching the show more often.

He certainly seems to cut through the lies a lot better than most real journalists. That, more than his humor, seems to be the source of his popularity. People just sort of trust him.
