The above is the most ridiculous and incoherent statement!

We want Obama's plans to fail precisely because they are bad for America. Indeed the are not American. His plans are un-American in nature and many are just plain unconstitutional.

Secondly, Republicans do not "hate" America. It is precisely because of our love of America and this country that (again) we wish for these plans of his to fail.

If Obama's plans do not fail, but he succeeds, America will be a very different place. It will not be the America we love; the America we grew up in, the America our founders gave to us.

As to your comment about the "middle class": There will always be a middle class. One doesn't usually start out anywhere else. From the time a person takes their first real job the job in their chosen career or one that would lead to a career (in otherwords, advancement potential), one is middle class.

Some people always remain "middle class" and are perfectly happy. Others strive to achieve and are driven to greater accomplishment. They move up; some rapidly. They invest some of their money and may become what many would call "rich".

Still others are the "Bill Gates" of the world, and start businesses and achieve their success through running their own business. That is a very American idea, is it not?

It is a "utopian" idea to think that everyone should be equal, economically speaking. It is never going to happen in a free society.

Hate America? Only those who wish to destroy it hate it.

but, none of this has anything to do with present day republican obstructionism.
