And police and the government wonders why people have come to dislike them so much. Nothing like painting people with a broad bursh as "terrorists" and "extremists."
Apparently, other folks did call the State police, and confirmed the veracity of the material.
This does not bode well for the moral fiber of the public servants who blindly obey such orders. On the other hand, "smart" officers would not express their unwillingness to obey. They may be simply waiting for the opportune time to "retire" any superior officer who gives such an order.

Since it's the work of Homeland Security, other states have probably gotten similar documents. This should frighten people, the way anyone can be considered a "terrorist" based purely on dissenting political beliefs.
