Well, at least in Venezuela, where I'm from it worked big time. This is how Hugo Chavez divided the country between rich and poor and he now commands a nation in upheaval.

By the way, Americans need to walk away from the habit of the blame game. Meaning, republicans blaming democrats or conservatives blaming liberals. You're all in the same boat, however, you're not in the same boat as the hundreds of made of....I mean Madoff.
Can't argue with that.

Intelligent white people of European Christian descent have been for awhile that the USA is turning into New Brazil right before our eyes, with all the problems places like Venezuela or Brazil have. What white liberals have done is a disgrace, and their grandchildren will curse them for it.

PS We are in the same boat as the Madoff people. The USA is totally broke, with $11 trillion in debt, and $47 trillion in unfunded liabilities. Look at CA for the future, a state with so many illegals, imported Third World pathology, etc. that it will never again produce a surplus. Taxpayers are fleeing the state, one filled with so many net tax-consumers that the state is $42 billion in deficit in just this year alone.

If Chavez didn't have that oil revenue.....it'd be far worse than it even is.

Just read the whole article. Don't buy all he has written about the airwaves, Mexicans, etc. However, do agree with his statement:
Quote:
The goal is simple: “redistribution of income.” Newsmax.com - Jerome Corsi: U.S. Becoming a &#39Dual Country&#39 (http://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/corsi_dual_country/2009/03/11/190793.html?s=al&promo_code=7C01-1 - broken link)
Don't think anyone can argue with that statement - just look back through campaign promises and proposed legistration.

I got sort of tickled at the statement
Quote:
"Democrats also are seeking to gain control over the airwaves" Newsmax.com - Jerome Corsi: U.S. Becoming a &#39Dual Country&#39 (http://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/corsi_dual_country/2009/03/11/190793.html?s=al&promo_code=7C01-1 - broken link)
While the Dems may/may not have control over the airwaves, they certainly have had control over the majority of the TV media - a medium which reaches thousands more US citizens than talk radio. That has been obvious especially during the last several months. During the campaign, they did a fantastic job of selling Obama to the public. They were slow to report anything negative about Obama and when they did - it was negated and quickly glossed over. The whole Rush Limbaugh thing recently in the news was a ridiculous way to divert citizen attention away from the real issues.

How about fair and balanced reporting - how about giving people the real facts and letting them make judgements on their own? Oh wait, I forgot - we are too stupid so we need to be lead around like sheep. Bah Bah Bah

ETA: Okay, now that I've read the entire article, it's rather lame. Bush pushed for a guest worker program, so if Obama pushes for the same thing, how can one criticize the Democrats? The nonsense about Spanish language media being a "back-door" return of the Fairnerss Doctrine is just that - nonsense.

Poorly written article.
Because we are in a economic crises or haven't you noticed!
Americans a loosing jobs by the boatloads! Americans should always come first in regards to benefits and jobs! This is our Country and we are here LEGALLY!
Haven't Americans lost enough jobs to overseas workers?
Must we do further insult and bring workers here by the truckloads and further hurt American workers in their own country!

This is one of the most well thought out and accurate posts I have ever read in roughly four years with City Data. So many of the financial problems we now face are the result of uncontrollable immigration ( legal + illegal) and the brunt of the blame can be placed on the white liberals. The same people that burned the American flag during the Vietnam War and screamed insults at our brave military and law enforcement. Despicable scumbags.
