Many commercial airline driver are also Air Force Reservists--some are fighter jockies.
So , if gun prohibitionists had their way , you could have the moral absurdity of of the same person not being trusted with a loaded (OMG)9mm semi-auto handgun on a commercial aircraft on Tuesday--- And flying an armed interceptor aircraft on Wednesday.

And being ordered to engage and shoot down a hi-jacked jetliner before the terrorist can crash it into a high value target.



That said , the "Obama secretly" part of article is very questionable at best.
