Outside of state lotteries (which we've never had in Nevada), the government isn't in the gambling business. Those who do that sort of work are called casino employees.
I don't know of any government run drug companies, legal or illegal. Those who do legal drug work are called by many names: .
the government just protects the interests of gambling corporations!
how about the CIA. it is still an unanswered allegation that part of the funding for the 'contras' came from drug money.
maybe that's what huck was trying to say. the whole fits like a shoe thing's baffling me too
Each year, millions of $ are spent on illegal drugs and the so-called "escorts" or just street hookers. That money vanishes into the black market, as (obviously) drug dealers and prostitutes don't pay a dime in taxes. People are going to keep getting high or paying for sex anyway, it has been like that since the beginning of mankind. I believe a brave approach regarding these issues is needed.
Too many right wing rednecks to legalize either. Even though more conservative and Republican politicians are caught up in sex scandals, they would still like to keep it illegal and troll for sex in airport restrooms
moral issue? so what do you suppose we do with men/ women who cheat on their spouses? stoning? public beheadings? what do you suppose we do with your son/ daughter who has premarital intercourse? what about couples who use birth control? castration perhaps?
there is a place on earth where your narrow view of the world is well accepted, maybe you'll be happier there!
We don't have to do anything with them. Their behavior is between them and their spouse. Should my kids make that decision, they should be prepared to live with the consequences.
Based on most accounts, 75% of Americans are opposed to prostitution. I don't think my view is particulary narrow.
Notice I stated my postion only, with the recognition that it will happen. I did not advocate the death penalty or stoning. Just my postion. Its shared by most Americans. I'd bet 95% of married Americans are against cheating on their spouses; depending on which survey you read, it happens to 2 out 3 couples.

You forget about how Afghanistan is one of the biggest exporters of heroin. If it were legalized, trade could be regulated and the drug war would no longer be funding terrorists.
So why criminalize it, if it won't stop it but will fill up prisons and trample personal freedoms?
Make sure you don't use roads, sidewalks, or any other infrastructure paid for by others.
I'm getting tired of repeating myself to people who lack the basic intellectual curiosity to understand the first thing about Anarcho-Capitalism. Like a brainwashed cult believing that the sun won't come up without human sacrifices, you believe roads and sidewalks cannot exist without the violent, corrupt, and unaccountable monopoly you call government. You should read more.

Um, hello?! If there was a place one could escape to, I'd be there already. Seasteading is the one remaining hope, but we all know the U.S. Navy will blow us out of the water soon enough. You can transfer from one plantation to another if you beg your massa hard enough, but you cannot escape...
yup, because that's what the poster was aiming for, his daughters to become prostitutes! to be fair, most of the people i knew who went off the rails were from obstinately repressive families. after your post, i can only assume that your family is one of those!
next time before you share your sharia opinions, perhaps you should consider the gargantuan expense (ie YOUR TAX DOLLARS) our government uses to police and incarcerate victimless crimes. you should also consider that in order to address prison overcrowding, rapists and murderers aren't getting the proper lengthy stays that they deserve.
while you are out moaning about the unconstitutionality of the income tax, the bailouts, the challenges to our second ammendment etc, you should consider that it was you and your kind who were cheering on the governments infringements of other peoples constitutional rights to sleep with whomever they want and injest, smoke, inject drink and inhale whatever they see fit!
